Forthcoming Attraction


Shantiniketan Public School, New Panvel celebrated its 7th Annual Day Roshni amidst grandeur on 25th January 2017. The theme of Roshni “VIBRATION” was a showcase of talent from standard I to standard X.

The luminaries gracing the occasion were The Guest of Honor ACP Shri. Nilewad and Shri. Yogesh Srivastav, the Deputy Manager of BHEL

Speaking on the occasion they congratulated the students and the staff and gave their best wishes to the Institution. The event commenced with lighting of the lamp, followed by the welcome song. Further the eminent guests were felicitated and presented with a token of gratitude. The annual report was rendered by the school Principal Mrs Swati Roy, who highlighted the achievements of the school. The toppers of every class were awarded by the honourable guests who expressed their delight on the school’s accomplishments. SNPS proudly felicitated four X board toppers who had scored 10 CGPA in the academic year 2016-17. Principal Mrs Swati Roy rightly comments “Our vision is to create a society of progressive thinking individuals who will contribute to the intellectual development of the global community by initiating positive changes in the society”.

The theme “Vibration” is a tribute to the legends for their impeccable contribution in their respective fields. Charlie Chaplin, Raj Kapoor, John Travolta, V. Shantaram, and Mahatma Gandhi to name a few Shantiniketan portrayed their hardship, sacrifices and their tremendous zeal to overcome all the odds and emerge successful life. Be it Charlie Chaplin, Michael Jackson, Rajnikanth all had faced series of adversities in life, despite of which they had accomplished success. They were subjected to most cumbersome situations but had never succumbed to failure. Shantiniketanist are imbibed with this spirit and had rendered their relevance to such iconic people by a marvelous dance performance.

The theme ‘Vibraton’ had paid homage to Indian Army whose courage and uninterrupted services to our nation help us lead a placid day and night.

Inspired by our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojna” the students performed a skit on Women Empowerment. The skit highlights the plight of women, and what they face in society female infanticide, child marriage, dowry, domestic violence and so on. SNPS strived to restore their rightful and dignified status, to nurture inner strength, creativity and self- esteem of women of all walks of life.

The school orchestra came up with fabulous musical program performed by Shantiniketanist where they rendered tribute to the music maestro.

Interestingly each and every pupil of the school which is 1300 children has a role to play in the presentation. No pupil was left out because taking part in such large scale functions will only enhance the child’s growth and all round development giving the child a holistic growth apart from academic activities of school.

The magnificent evening had left a profound everlasting imprint in the minds of guests, parents and pupils.
